Corey Mitleider Named New United Way Chairman for NCCI Cares Initiative NCCI Director of Tax & Billing Operations to Lead Top Palm Beach County Non-Profit Campaign BOCA RATON, Fla. (August 10, 2018) – The National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI), the trusted source of information for the U.S. workers compensation system, announces the appointment of Corey Mitleider as its 2018 United Way Campaign Chairman. United Way is a signature program of NCCI’s charitable initiative NCCI Cares. Launched in January 2017, NCCI Cares exceeded its first year goals and employees dedicated an enormous amount of time and energy into the program. United Way improves lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities around the world to advance the common good. In its first year, NCCI Cares raised over $230,000 and was ranked fourth for United Way of Palm Beach County’s top campaigns. This year’s campaign will concentrate on the future of Palm Beach County’s children, to ensure success by focusing on education, food, and shelter. Corey Mitleider joined NCCI nine years ago and is currently its Director of Tax & Billing Operations. Previously he was a Senior Accountant at Deloitte LLP in Miami and he received his accounting degree at University of Florida. In addition to his participation in in NCCI’s Companywide Volunteer Day Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County, he has raced in 5k events for charities that NCCI supports including the Loop for Literacy Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse and the Run for the Ribbons to support the Lynn Cancer Institute at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. “My vision is to facilitate a campaign where every employee gives a donation - no matter how small - knowing that their time or money is properly spent to help give someone deserving a chance to live a better life.” said Mitleider. “Our philanthropic mission allows NCCI to be a leader in our community and acknowledges how fortunate we are to live in such a wonderful place, by giving back to residents in our county who are less fortunate and face many challenges.” Corey also currently volunteers with Junior Achievement of the Palm Beaches and Treasure Coast and Junior Achievement of South Florida where he speaks to student groups from kindergarten through 12th grade.
