Military Trail, Boca Raton, FL 33486. The meeting will be held in the Maple Room. The eleven-member panel, each of whom was appointed by the Boca Raton City Council, hopes to hear from residents about quality of life issues in Boca Raton. The informal town hall gathering will provide an opportunity for residents to meet and discuss ideas, views, concerns and initiatives about quality of life issues in Boca Raton. The panel will then organize the input received from the community and report results to the City Council for their consideration. Residents or individuals who work in Boca Raton are encouraged to attend the meeting and will have an opportunity to share their ideas with the panel and others. Comment cards will be available for those who would prefer not to speak. The panel will present a brief introduction about its mission and will provide ideas to begin the discussion, although all quality of life issues will be heard. The mission of the Boca Raton Community Advisory Panel (CAP) is to provide expanded opportunities on an informal basis for city residents to state their views, voice their concerns, and express their needs regarding quality of life issues affecting our community, including initiatives that citizens would like to see pursued by city government. The Panel will collectively organize the input received from the community at scheduled meetings and Town Hall forums and report the results on a periodic basis to the Boca Raton City Council for their consideration. The Community Advisory Panel meets the second Thursday of every month at the community center annex at 6pm. The public is encouraged to attend and address the panel at any monthly meeting, in addition to the forums. The community center annex is located at 260 Crawford Boulevard in Boca Raton.
