Her community involvement is extensive and as such she is a part of several civic and professional associations including the National and Palm Beach County Bar association. She credits her passion for serving others to her civic-minded family who instilled in her early in life that “to whom much is given, much is required.” In addition to celebrating Ethel Isaacs Williams, we will also be honoring the 2019 Pearl Award Recipient. The Pearl Award is given to a young female who is a graduate of the Boca Chamber's Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!). This young woman is achieving success and shines bright as a rising star in the community. The award celebrates an individual that we believe stands out as a pearl of potential in the next generation of business leaders. Our 2019 Pearl Award recipient is: Casey Hill of Piston Trainer. Hill is a junior at Boca Raton Community High School, and has always exhibited a passion for music. She began playing trumpet in fourth grade and now plays over twenty instruments and composes her own music. While part of the Boca Chamber’s Young Entrepreneur’s Academy Class of 2018, Casey developed the idea for her Piston Trainer, a device that teaches proper technique on piston-valve brass instruments. She officially launched her company in August of 2018. Casey’s future plan is to study musical therapy in college.
