Levin will oversee the agency’s media relations, marketing and communications in effort to raise public awareness concerning JFS’ community programs and services for individuals and families in crisis. JFS’ extensive range of services includes food and financial assistance, senior services, counseling and mental health, career and employment services and many volunteer opportunities. “JFS is thrilled to have Monika join our team in this newly created position,” stated Danielle Hartman, JFS President and CEO. “As the agency has grown significantly over the past several years, we were operating without a full-time dedicated person in this capacity. Now, with the addition of Monika, we will be able to have one person coordinating all our marketing and PR efforts for the agency.” Prior to joining JFS, Monika directed the Anti-Defamation League’s media relations in Florida for over a decade; was an associate producer for the Jewish Television network in Los Angeles; worked as a television news field producer in Israel; directed a documentary film entitled, “Alois Brunner: The Last Nazi;” and associate produced a documentary entitled, “No Safe Place,” about Israeli victims of terror.
