Ron Flavin Writes $1.7M Award Winning Grant for Montana Board of Crime Control One of the Largest NCHIP Grants Ever Awarded San Francisco, CA, September 10, 2014 - Organizational Growth Strategist and Grants Expert Ron Flavin wrote an NCHIP Grant for the State of Montana, Montana Board of Crime Control (MBCC) that was awarded $1.7 Million. The $1.7 Million NCHIP Grant (National Criminal History Improvement Program) was one of the largest ever made. The National Criminal History Improvement Program (NCHIP), through the BJC*, provides direct awards and technical assistance to states and localities to improve the quality, timeliness, and immediate accessibility of criminal history records and related information. The Montana Board of Crime Control (MBCC), the recipient of the $1.7M grant award, is the designated Montana state agency that administers millions of grant dollars dedicated to preventing and addressing crime statewide. The MBCC is headed by an eighteen member board appointed by the Governor. Board members represent law enforcement, criminal and juvenile justice system stakeholders, and citizens, including the first Montanans-the state's Native Americans.
