BOCA RATON PUBLIC LIBRARY REINSTATES EVENING HOURS (Boca Raton, FL) – On October 1, 2014, the Boca Raton Public Library will reinstate the evening hours at both of their locations thanks to a unanimous vote by Boca Raton City Council in their final budget hearing on September 18th. The weekly hours at both the Downtown Library at 400 NW 2nd Avenue, and the Spanish River Library at 1501 NW Spanish River Boulevard, will be as follows: Monday through Thursday 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., and Sunday 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. “This is wonderful news for the citizens of Boca Raton,” said Catherine Greene, Chairperson of the Library Advisory Board. “By unanimously agreeing to increase the hours of operation for Boca’s two outstanding libraries, our City Council has shown a depth of insight by supporting efforts to provide greater access to our libraries. On behalf of all Boca citizens, I extend our thanks and appreciation.”
