Boca Raton is Cooking Up New Business with City Officials and Community Members, to Celebrate the Grand Opening Party of Greek Restaurant, Gyro Room, on Thursday, December 11th 2014 Nestled in the Mission Bay Plaza of West Boca Raton, is a delicious, new Greek eatery to discover. Boasting big flavor and healthy portions, Gyro Room opened its restaurant doors in the Fall of 2014. This casual hot spot, will take your taste buds to another level with homemade recipes from authentic Greek and Mediterranean roots, prepared made-to-order, with the freshest ingredients and imported spices. Open for lunch and dinner daily, the menu is loaded with something for everyone. From tasty pita sandwiches, to salads and combo platters, there’s even a “create-your-plate” option for adventurous palates who like to select their own ingredients. Owner and Restaurateur, Anna Chasomeris, combines her Spanish and Greek heritage to give a Mediterranean twist to the menu with a unique selection of hot and cold plates. On Thursday, December 11th from 5:30pm until 8pm, Gyro Room will host a special ribbon cutting ceremony with members of the Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce and City Officials in attendance to celebrate the new opening. Gyro Room’s representative, Amy Sara, says, “The event is unlike anything that has taken place in the West Boca plaza. We are bringing a taste of Greece to the entire courtyard extending outside the restaurant. There will be passed hors d'oeuvres and cocktails served by Greek Goddesses, live musical entertainment with a mix of Mediterranean, Greek and Israeli sounds, and dozens of gift certificate giveaways.” This is a celebration to bring the community together for fresh, flavorful fare and fun.
