Girl Scouts Host Thin Mint Sprint 5K Race Tagalong Trot for Little Ones Jupiter, FL February 2, 2015 – Attention all runners! Lace up your running shoes and join Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida for their Fourth Annual Thin Mint Sprint 5K on Sunday, April 12, 2015 at Okeeheelee Park in West Palm Beach. The race also includes a Tagalong Trot 100-yard dash for kids 8 and under. The Thin Mint Sprint is open to all ages. Awards will be given in 17 categories, and the first 300 registrants will receive a race T-shirt. Plus, all participants get a free box of Thin Mints after you cross the finish line! This is a chip timed race on a certified course. The registration fee is $25 before March 13, $30 after March 13 - April 11 or $35 on race day. For registered Girl Scouts, the fee is $20, and the Tagalong Trot is just $10. The race is shaping up to be the best one yet with plenty of fun activities for all. There will be a face painting, balloon twisting, a photo booth, a light breakfast and even massages! Packet pickup and race day registration will begin at 6:30 a.m. at the Micanopy Pavilion inside Okeeheelee Park.
