Boca Helping Hands 9th Annual Bowling for Bread Contact: Karen Swedenborg, Development Manager at Karen@bocahelpinghands.org The 9th Annual Bowling for Bread event benefiting Boca Helping Hands will be held Sunday, August 30, 2015 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at Strikes @ Boca on Commercial Trail in Boca Raton. Bowling for Bread, is a Boca Raton Chamber Festival Days event. Our event challenges local businesses and individuals to sponsor lanes, for underprivileged children, and/or bowl against each other to raise funds to support the programs of Boca Helping Hands. We also encourage people to bring canned food for our pantry at this event. All proceeds of this event benefit the programs of Boca Helping Hands. Boca Helping Hands will invite children from local non-profits for an afternoon of fun, food and bowling. Food is donated from local restaurants and individuals, families and businesses sponsor each of the lanes. The volunteer chair of the event was LouAnn Such.
