Forty-nine people were killed and many more injured in the Pulse Nightclub Shooting in Orlando on June 12, 2016, and many are suffering the aftermath of the horrible incident. Now it is time to step up and help. Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Boca Raton has organized a Flash Mob to fundraise money to help the victims and victim’s families. They are inviting the community to take part. Practices will be starting the week of June 20th leading up to July 8th. The rehearsal times will be as follows: Tuesdays - 6:00 pm Thursdays – 7:30 pm Saturdays – 1:30 pm The Flash Mob will take place the evening of July 8th. They are asking a participation fee of $45.00. All profits will be donated towards a nonprofit corporation called OneOrlando. Call (561) 563-3685 for exact time and location. OneOrlando was formed to provide a way to help respond to the needs of the community, now and in the time to come, after the effects of the Pulse tragedy. Mayor Buddy Dyer stated, "Hate may have visited our community. It’s taken the lives of innocent people. It has shaken us to our core and broken our hearts. But, hate will not define us. And, hate will not defeat us. Because we are ONE Orlando." Arthur Murray Boca Raton is committed to helping the community through dancing.
