WEST PALM BEACH – Leadership Palm Beach County (LPBC) has launched a new series of training workshops focused on effective leadership for current and aspiring managers to ensure there is a pipeline of leaders in the community. The new program, Leadership Aspire, was developed based on the results of an assessment LPBC conducted in 2015 which identified a need in the community for more leadership training. Workshop topics include communication, strategic planning, managing change, and leadership competencies. “This exciting new program will further LPBC’s mission to educate and unite leaders to build a better community,” said Nancy Proffitt, president of LPBC. “Our organization is all about directing positive change in Palm Beach County, and these workshops will serve as training to inspire leaders to take on more initiatives and oversee them more effectively.” Beginning in the fall, the new four-hour morning workshops will be held quarterly at Palm Beach State College, Lake Worth Campus. The program is $250 per session, or sign up for all 4 and receive a $200 discount.
