The MMRF is partnering with the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa to bring this exciting weekend of events to Florida. Dr. Melissa Alsina will chair both the MMRF Patient Summit and the MMRF 5K Walk/Run! Our Patient Summits are complimentary, but space is limited so register today at www.themmrf.org/patient MMRF 5K Walk/Run On Sunday, February 12, 2017, the MMRF will hold its first 5K Walk/Run at Okeeheelee Park in West Palm Beach to raise awareness and funds for myeloma research. The 5K Walk/Run program is held across 13 US cities every year, and hosts 22,000 participants annually. In each city, the MMRF partners with myeloma treatment centers to educate and support patients and caregivers at the event. Race participants include patients, patient family members, caregivers, friends, community leaders, healthcare professionals and researchers.
