Junior League of Boca Raton’s 5th Annual Dr. Seuss Birthday Party and Diaper Drive Celebration to raise diaper donations for 800 babies in Broward and Palm Beach County Boca Raton, FL (February 7, 2017) - The Junior League of Boca Raton (JLBR) will host the 5th Annual Dr. Seuss Birthday Party and Diaper Drive at the Boca Raton Community Garden (NW 4th St, Boca Raton, FL 33432) on Saturday, February 25th from 10 am until 2 pm. Families are invited to celebrate Dr. Seuss’s birthday with Seuss-themed birthday cake, games, arts and crafts, face painting, and more! The event is open to the public. Admission is a package of diapers with all sizes being needed specifically sizes newborn, 1, and 3. “This fun filled day is one that the community as a whole looks forward to each year. This event raises awareness of the diaper need in our area while collecting diaper donations for local families,” said Kirsten Stanley, President of JLBR. The Junior League is excited to announce our 5th year 25k goal. To celebrate the 5th anniversary of this fundraiser, the goal is to raise 25,000 diapers for local nonprofit agencies. The Junior League of Boca Raton would like to thank their Provisional Class and Committee members who have been a driving force to make this the best Dr. Seuss fundraiser to date. About the Community Diaper Bank Junior League of Boca Raton (JLBR) Diaper Bank is the only diaper bank in Palm Beach and Broward Counties and currently donates approximately 50,000 diapers per month to nineteen local non-profit agencies helping to diaper over 800 babies per month. The JLBR Diaper Bank depends on members of our community for monetary donations to purchase diapers, diaper donations and to host diaper drives and/or be a drop off location.
