WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (February 16, 2017) – Hospice of Palm Beach County Foundation and Hospice by the Sea Foundation welcome two new board members, Patrick J. Franklin and C. Glen Ged, Esq. Patrick J. Franklin is the President and CEO of the Urban League of Palm Beach County. His education includes a bachelor’s degree in Physics from Southern University, and an MBA from Florida International University. Patrick has been honored as the recipient of numerous awards, including the 2016 Lifetime Achievement Award from Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. He currently serves as the Secretary and Treasurer of Discover the Palm Beaches and is a board member of the Palm Beach County Housing Finance Committee. As a founding partner of Ellis, Ged, & Bodden, P.A., C. Glen Ged is a graduate of New England School of Law, an Eagle member of the Academy of Trial Lawyers, currently serves as Chairman of the Florida Bar Grievance Committee and is the Vice Chairman of the North Federal Hiring Steering Committee. Ged is also a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the South Palm Beach County Bar Association and the Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce. “We are grateful to add two more outstanding community leaders to our very active and committed board,” said Greg Leach, President of Hospice of Palm Beach County Foundation. “The organization will benefit significantly from the abundant experience and perspectives provided by Mr. Franklin and Mr. Ged”, he added.
