Boca Raton, FL – September 17, 2024 – Her 2nd Chance, a nonprofit social enterprise dedicated to empowering women in recovery through paid employment in a safe and supportive environment, is excited to announce its Annual Open House on Thursday, November 7th, from 5:30 to 7:00 PM at its headquarters in Boca Raton. This year’s event marks significant milestones and achievements as the organization continues transforming lives in the Palm Beach County community. At this year’s open house, Her 2nd Chance will celebrate: - The hiring of 100 women in recovery since Her 2nd Chance’s inception. - The successful launch of the Bridge to Employment Program, a comprehensive initiative designed to support women transitioning back into the workforce. - Reaching $1.7 million in sales through its social enterprise e-commerce gift shops, direct-to-business sales, and fulfillment services. - The rollout of a new website and exciting new products. Event Highlights: Attendees will get an inside look at the product production process and learn more about how the organization’s mission is impacting the lives of women who are overcoming substance abuse.
