The City of Boynton Beach Recreation & Parks Department will celebrate the season with its annual Fall Festival from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, October 19 at Centennial Park & Amphitheater (120 E. Ocean Ave.) in Downtown Boynton. The festival will feature a pumpkin giveaway sponsored in part by Publix, fall photo opportunities, bounce houses, games, music, a nonprofit showcase and more. Come hungry - a variety of food trucks will be on site, including The Picnic, Burger Deez, Kona Ice, Jeros Catering and Little Star Creamery. The Boynton Beach Arts & Cultural Center (125 E. Ocean Ave.) will offer free classes such as, Yanvalou Body with Kertia Duga from 3:30 to 4 p.m., Samba with Sasha Dance Academy from 4 to 4:30 p.m. and Gymnastics with Joy Deco from 4:30 to 5 p.m. Attendees can register to win free prizes, tour the facility and enjoy a Hispanic heritage art exhibition. “We’re thrilled to bring our Boynton Beach community together once again for this year’s Fall Festival.” Recreation & Parks Director Fabien Desrouleaux said. “Our goal is to build a strong sense of community by creating lasting memories for everyone.” Free parking is available on the corner of Boynton Beach Boulevard and Seacrest Boulevard. The entrance is off Boynton Beach Boulevard. Ride Share is encouraged. For the safety of attendees and vendors, the following roads will be closed from 12 to 7 p.m.: East Ocean Avenue from Seacrest Boulevard to S.E. 1st Street and S.E. 1st Avenue from Seacrest Boulevard to S.E. 1st Street.
