SEVENTH ANNUAL HOPE BASH BOCA WELCOMES FRIENDS OF CHILDREN TO GATHER “UNDER THE PALMS” NOV. 2 Boca Raton, FL – (August 27, 2019) – Every foster child, youth and family in the care of Place of Hope has friends they may never meet. Friends like Boca Raton resident Kelly Fleming and the employees of the Boca Raton-based National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI) Holdings, Inc. work in many ways to ensure the children receive the care and support they need to overcome their challenges. On Saturday, November 2, 2019, Place of Hope at The Leighan and David Rinker Campus will recognize Fleming and NCCI, Inc. as their 2019 Jay DiPietro Heroes of Hope at the Seventh Annual Hope Bash Boca, presented by the Coulombe Family Foundation. The event is not only a way to raise funds for programs that change lives, but it is also a way for friends of Palm Beach County’s children, youth and families to gather “Under the Palms” to celebrate local leaders. Hope Bash Boca guests will enjoy dinner, dancing, live music, entertainment and various fundraising opportunities. Fleming will receive the Individual Hero of Hope award, and NCCI, Inc. will receive the Corporate Hero of Hope award. The gala will be held at 6:30 p.m. at Boca West Country Club, 20583 Boca West Drive, Boca Raton, FL. Tickets are $300 each and can be purchased at https://www.placeofhoperinker.org/event/hopebashtickets/ Kelly Fleming, Will Fleming, Bill Donnell and Mary Donnell are serving as honorary co-chairs. “We are delighted to recognize our Individual award winner Kelly Fleming for the many contributions she has made to our organization since joining as an Angel Mom a few years ago. Kelly quickly got involved and assumed a leadership position as our Angel Moms President, where she served for two consecutive years. Under her leadership, our base of support grew tremendously and she and her family became even more invested in our mission by naming The Kelly Woods Fleming Cottage. Also, she recently named the Kelly Woods Fleming Volunteer Workroom in the Lane Education and Enrichment Center. Kelly has served on every major event committee as a co-chair or host committee member, has been instrumental in helping forge strategic relationships throughout the community and is an ambassador for our mission wherever she goes,” said Place of Hope Founding CEO Charles Bender. “As our Corporate award recipient, NCCI, Inc. was one of the earliest supporters of Place of Hope’s move to southern Palm Beach County. Over the past six years, NCCI has been actively serving on our campus, been a consistent sponsor of both of our major events and was the first corporate partner to invite us to educate their staff on human trafficking. We are grateful to NCCI for their support of the children and youth we serve at Place of Hope,” said Bender. Proceeds from the gala fundraiser benefit the programs and operations of Place of Hope at The Leighan and David Rinker Campus, an expansion of the Palm Beach Gardens-based Place of Hope. The largest residential children, youth and families organization in South Florida, Place of Hope is a faith-based, state-licensed nonprofit that provides family-style foster care (emergency and long-term); family outreach and intervention; maternity care; safety for domestic minor sexually trafficked victims; transitional housing and support services; adoption and foster care recruitment and support; hope and healing opportunities for children and families who have been traumatized by abuse and neglect.
