Membership Development Associate for the Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce Seeking a self-motivated, ambitious and energetic Membership Development Associate to support our organization’s overall membership and revenue growth objectives. This valuable team member will be primarily responsible for prospecting and selling memberships to businesses in the region. Essential Duties: • Actively prospects and sells business members via telephone. • Employs the Chamber’s sales system and techniques to uncover problems and recommend solutions. • Strategically plans sales activities for maximum efficiency and effectiveness. • Represents the Chamber at corporate and community events. • Keeps accurate and timely records of prospects and members. • Increases the rate of renewals by communicating with members to ensure they take advantage of resources and remain engaged. • Performs other duties as assigned. Applicants must be qualified with the following: • Three+ years proven sales background. • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. • Computer literate; proficient in MS Outlook, Word and Excel. • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent on the job experience. • Ability to meet a monthly sales quota. • Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. • Ability to lift approximately 25lbs.
