Clerk & Comptroller’s Office Wins 2019 Gold Stevie Award Clerk Sharon R. Bock, Esq. recognized as Silver Stevie Award winner WEST PALM BEACH, FLA. (Dec. 12, 2019) – The Clerk & Comptroller, Palm Beach County was recognized as a Gold Stevie Award winner for Organization of the Year – Government or Non-Profit for agencies with more than 10 employees, at the 16th Annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business. The Stevie Award for Women in Business recognizes outstanding women and organizations in the corporate, nonprofit and government sectors from around the world. Winners were announced during an awards ceremony on Nov. 15. “It is an incredible honor for our office to earn this international award, and to be recognized along with so many outstanding organizations,” Clerk Bock said. “This award is a testament to my team’s continued commitment to public service that improves the quality of life for everyone in our community. It is my privilege to lead such a dedicated group of professionals.” Clerk & Comptroller Sharon R. Bock, Esq., was also recognized as Silver Stevie Award winner in the category of Female Executive of the Year – Government or Non-Profit, 11 to 2,500 Employees. The Stevie Awards for Women in Business received more than 1,500 entries from organizations and individuals in 25 countries, for consideration in more than 90 categories. Awards included from Executive of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Startup of the Year, Women Helping Women and Women-Run Workplace of the Year. In her four terms as Palm Beach County’s elected Clerk & Comptroller, Clerk Bock has worked as a tireless advocate for innovation, public access, transparency and technology to promote continuous government improvement and efficiency.
