Boca Raton, FL (January 6, 2020) In honor of the 12th Annual Cantor Stephen Dubov Z”L Memorial Concert  Temple Beth El of Boca Raton  and Congregation B’nai Israel have joined  together to present the nationally acclaimed group of Jewish super stars, So Is Life on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at 3:00 pm at the Beth El Schaefer Family Campus in east Boca Raton.

So Is Life brings together extraordinary musical talent from today’s Jewish music scene. Featuring Cantor Ellen Dreskin, Josh Nelson, Dan Nichols and Cantor Rosalie Will, plus esteemed New York composer/performer Elana Arian, So is Life will be an unforgettable concert! Their rich harmonies and exquisite instrumentation are the perfect showcase for musical selections from sacred to secular and traditional to contemporary pop.

“I am so excited to bring these incomparable musical artists to Temple Beth El.  Their blend of contemporary and Jewish music and inspiring messages bring audiences to their feet; they are like a musical/spiritual vitamin B12 shot! I’ve watched crowds at the URJ Biennial moved to tears, laughing, crying and singing along to these amazing artists – each individually a star in the Jewish music world, but together they are divine! I know that Cantor Dubov would have loved this performance,” says Beth El Cantor Lori Brock.

The Stephen Dubov z”l Memorial Concert series has been a highly anticipated annual tradition since his passing in 2006, and rotates year to year between Temple Beth El and Congregation B’nai Israel in Boca Raton. Cantor Dubov had arrived at Temple Beth El of Boca Raton with great expectations, having been chosen for his ability to hit every note and to inspire.  But just over a month after his arrival, he passed away unexpectedly in Detroit while returning to his family to help them prepare for their move from Michigan to south Florida to join him. Born in Miami Beach, he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in music education from the University of Miami and he received his cantorial investiture and Master’s Degree from Hebrew Union College.
