R THE ENTIRE COMMUNITY

Boca Raton, FL (February 11, 2020) Temple Beth El of Boca Raton invites the entire community to a duo of celebrations in honor of the joyous holiday of Purim. Come  celebrate on Sunday, March 8 at 10:00 am for a Purim Spiel and Carnival for children of all ages, and then again on Monday, March 9 at 7:00 pm for West Side Shushan: an adult Purim spiel and celebration.  All events will be held at the Temple’s Schaefer Family Campus at 333 S.W. 4th Avenue, Boca Raton, FL 33432.



THE GREATEST SPIEL

Wear your best king, queen or other fun costumes. You will be treated to fantastic melodies from The Greatest Showman, and this fun-filled spiel will feature Beth El’s own religious school students and parents! Everyone is guaranteed to be uplifted and filled with Purim spirit!  No RSVP required.

PURIM CARNIVAL

Following the entertaining spiel, our parking lot and social hall will have been transformed into a spectacular Purim park! Delicious food for purchase will be available. Menu items include hot dogs, hamburgers, veggie burgers, chicken breasts, and fun snacks such as frozen fruit smoothies, popcorn, and cotton candy, and, of course, Hamentashen! 
Fun activities for the children include a giant slide, bounce houses, Shock Wave, Go Gator, interactive action game, indoor and outdoor games and face painting. There will be a special area for pre-school children, as well. Early bird carnival tickets are available online for $10 pp now at tbeboca.org/special-events. Note: Please, no scary costumes or weapons of any kind. No outside food or drink permitted.

ADULT PURIM SPIEL & CELEBRATION WEST SIDE SHUSHAN

The Sharks and the Jets are nothing compared to the gangs of Shushan, in this hysterical “adults-only” version of the story of Purim, the most joyous holiday on the Jewish calendar! Party with us and celebrate Purim together! Our festivities will be followed by a savory oneg with specialty cocktails. No fee/RSVP required.

Sunday, March 8th Purim Carnival:

Early bird tickets for $10 per person are on sale online now at tbeboca.org/special-events. They include an unlimited rides and games wristband. Tickets will also be available on the day of the event for $15 per person. Children 2 and under are free. Adults accompanied by children are free. Online registration closes Thursday, March 5.
